The Opel Ampera is anticipated to be the European version of the Chevy Volt, a 5-door, 4-seat hatch powered by GM’s Voltec plug-in hybrid system and is said to have a range of 60 km running solely on the lithium-ion battery. The Ampera has more distinctive exterior – more aggressive front ant rear fascias with the Black-themed interior. It is believed that this next-generation hybrid car will start its reproduction in late 2011.
